The tent sites are beautiful and nestled in woods making them feel private and remote, a truly immersive experience. The RV loops are the opposite of that, more like a glorified parking lot with no separation between neighboring vehicles, and views, well, of other RV's.
My two trips one tenting, one an RV loop stay were very different. Make sure to check out the hiking trails - we caught on to them a little late in the game so were only able to explore a couple of miles. Need to go back, tent camp, and hike more of those trails!

We also took in Lake Quinault and Hoh Rainforest. Our cabin was rustic and had all the necessities. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean. This is an older lodge and cabin venue, so do not expect modern distractions like cell service or TV. You really do not need them. The views are incredible.
