The analyst tested DNA from homicide, rape, sexual assault, and other violent crime cases. Its a great place just hire more people so people can enjoy the place and less waiting on drinks and food. Love coming especially when Gena Chambers is singing. I don't drink but was charged the same amount for a virgin dacquri. The waiter and live music was great. The V Need something more to get people to stay and start dancing. The food was good but the service sucked.
Our waitress was slow and I had to ask for water like 5 times before I received it. That was very bad business and in very poor taste because it made you wonder if it was a scam.
Nice spot but horrible service Music was good.. All servers was new and Very slow. A laid back spot that You can also dance at.. I had fun. The energy was perfect. Live band was good and so was the dj. A great old school vibe. There was a time when I loved Sydney's. My wife, a friend and myself attended Friday night. Our reservations was for p. Much earlier than they use to. We sat in our usual spot near the side door close to the stage. Our table was unbalanced, so when we received our drinks the unbalanced table cause our drinks to tip over.
I spoke with the manager to see if the table could be replaced. I also informed her that the table cause our drinks to tip over right after receiving them. She informed me that she could move us. I declined to be moved because the only available tables were way in the back. The manager replied with an attitude, stating "Does it look like I can carry a table. I walked away and chose not to purchase another drink nor food. I felt as a customer the manager should have handle the situation better.
Due to her attitude we eventually left and took our business else where. I did not spend another dime after that type of treatment. We tend to go out most weekends along with a group of friends. We will not waste our time or money at this establishment again! I enjoyed myself. And my friends did as well. However, there were a few things that could be improved upon. One is the wait staff needed something to bring the drinks and food out on.
They were bringing out 2 drinks at a time as well as bringing the food out with their fingers holding the plates. Sometimes they would spill them on people or the floor. It also took them forever to bring your drink to you or get it right. Secondly, the food is something to be desired. For the money, it didn't match up. It kind of looked like it was thrown together. Plus, they didn't have certain food like the shrimp. The music was good. However, the music that was playing was not the song they were singing.
But because the crowd got pumped up, the music passed. I loved this place! Went here to grab a quick bite before heading to a show--the food on their site and online looked pretty good but they had nothing! The bar tender didn't even recommend the microwaved tacos or something so we went hungry and figured the drinks would at least make up for it I was wrong. Mine was intended to be a sweet cocktail but it was overly sweet and as far as a dirty martini??
Well it looked like dirty water. They were setting up DJ and testing music at PM so we couldn't even have a conversation. This place needs redone and new management. Too bad, it looks like it might have been decent at some time in the past. Terrible service, completely ignored when asked for napkins and the check, took an hour to get check and cars back. Would never recommend. Brandon Stevens band was fantastic that night and the drinks were great. When we arrived, I explained my party of 8 out of town guests wanted some live jazz and that I had been calling for days to find out if and when a band would be available, no one ever answered the phone and voicemail was full.
The attendant told me I should have checked the website. I explained I had been checking the website and no band information was available. She then told me I should have checked Facebook. I said which is it She then told me to come back at 9pm, the band would be there by then. I said my party of 8 is here She then said they could turn on the radio Cover charge, cost of appetizers were excessive.
Food not tasty. No chicken in buffalo chicken dip. Portions small for price. Bring back flat bread. We enjoyed the band and martinis. Fun night to get together at last minute. Nice atmosphere for the grown and sexy! Great live bands!! Reservation were easy to make Service was great Food and drinks were great. Band was fabulous. My spouse and I visited here for drinks and appetizers before heading to the theater.
Live music and attentive service made for a good start to an enjoyable evening. My husband and I enjoyed the live Jazz band and that is the only reason we did not leave. The food was absolutely disgusting and a waste of money!!!!!! My plate had several big chips on the end, I asked for another because of all the chips.
The waitress took for ever to return with a better plate. We had the spinach dip and buffalo chicken egg rolls. Also, we had to ask on different occasions to have the dirty plates and empty glasses removed from the table. The drinks were ok but, but had to wait forever for our drinks and when the drink came you can tell it had been sitting for a while.
After making a call just to ask an unrelated question, we found out from management that we did not have an actual reservation because we needed to purchase tickets on event brite and not from their website as instructed.
We were quite embarrassed because we also were to meet friends who also had made table reservations through their website. NEVER in their website did it mention going to event brite. We were left with nothing to do as most places were sold out and booked. This was their problem and they should have made more of an effort to accommodate those that were affected. The managers made no effort to correct their wrong. I will take up with the owner. We made reservations only to be seated in the back far away from the live music.
Our seat was right next to the door which was very uncomfortable because every time the door would open the wind would hit us bad.
