I was happy to see the BenPao menu! I have missed that restaurant in the LEYE family. I was, however, very disappointed in the Mongolian Beef as the recipe has changed. I actually ordered the Mongolian Beef at lunch about 1 month ago - it was delicious and exactly as i remembered from the old Ben Pao. I was looking forward to the same meal this past week, but was disappointed as it seems the recipe has changed.
The flavor was somewhat bland and i don't remember that there were mushrooms in Mongolian Beef. My friend ordered the Sesame Chicken which was good, and I was wishing that I had not chosen the beef. So sad -- but i will be back -- maybe next time!! The seven-flavor beef is amazing!
One of my favorite dishes of all time. It'd be on my list of demands for my last meal if I was on death row. The food was timely and tasted great. We had multiple parties in group ans our server was very gracious in getting the bills to each party.
I have been going to Hub 51 for over five years. I have never had bad service and cold food. We also waited for a very long time for our food. I will think twice before eating here again. It was a good decision going to the hub! Food was good, sushi was the best. Chicken tacos were great! Every single thing was amazing and the service was great! Will be returning soon. Always great food and service!
Loved the place and the ambiance!! Recommended to anyone that wants to brunch! Food arrived at an expected wait, but service felt too relaxed and not attentive enough for the number of patrons in the restaurant at the time. We were nearly late for a show after brunch because I had to ask the hostess twice to find out waiter so we could pay the bill. The food was great and the portions were much bigger than expected.
Neither of us could finish our plates. The drinks were awesome and strong. The food was delicious. Our waiter was really nice but may have been overwhelmed. We had to keep getting his attention for things we needed. We will be returning to try out other menu items. Stopped by for a late lunch - we had to ask for a waiter to come serve us after waiting for awhile. Next time will be a charm as there always is that next trip to CHI-town. Great food, always solid and dependable.
Service is top notch even in these tough times with staff shortages. Serve was horrible. I waited 15 mins for a drink. And then when I asked him for a carafe for the bottomless mimosas to refill my glass, he came back 45 mins later with a drink for one of the other people I was with and didn't bother realizing he forgot mine and my other friends drink order. We went for the bottomless brunch on a Friday with a large group - service was great and the staff were very accommodating to our large party.
Mimosas were served until 3 pm. We also had bellinis and everything tasted great. Chose here because it was one of the only locations that does bottomless on fridays. Would return to try lunch or dinner because it was a nice restaurant and very nice atmosphere however would likely choose somewhere else for brunch because of the price!
Amazing food! I had not been here since the added the Asian food and it was amazing!! Unfortunately the service was a bit on the slower side. Ben Pao menu is great!!! We enjoyed this restaurant a lot!
We started with the famous nachos and they were great. It is a very large portion so its great for a group of people. The steak in the steak tacos was delicious. We would definitely come back again! Went there for a birthday lunch. Overall was good, though my silverware was initially dirty, the server was happy to replace it when I brought it to his attention. Additionally, we got a complementary carrot cake slice when we mentioned it was my birthday which was really nice.
