Boston graduate school of psychoanalysis review

They are smart and very accessible. Class sizes are small and interactive and the content is fascinating. I want to help people achieve immediate and long-term results.

The course material has taught me that. The faculty is great. They bring course material to life so we can really learn the material. In the process I have learned a lot about myself which has helped me help others during my clinical training. I highly recommend this school. I am a graduate of the clinical doctoral program. BGSP provided an intellectual and emotional growth experience.

I have used what I have learned to build a successful career and a more fulfilling personal life. Not necessarily an easy journey yet an extremely valuable one.

BGSP is amazing. We were able to see techniques in action and feel what it's like to be in psychoanalytic therapy. I learned so much! My time at BGSP has opened the door to developing and understanding a new language for the emotional experience. The training BGSP provides cannot be found at a typical university or college; it is a unique and individual process that helps build a solid emotional framework that emphasizes the capacity to work with severely disturbed patients.

Every faculty member is about to drop dead. Most of them have no experience with psychoanalysis outside of BGSP. I would recommend steering clear of this place, it mostly exists to get patients as students become teachers' patients, literally.

International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. BGSP also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services. Nearly thirty years ago, BGSP faculty member Joan White decided to bring modern psychoanalysis into the public schools. The admissions process at BGSP gives you a good feel for what the school is like. Rather than asking you to submit a GRE score, they ask you to come interview with three faculty members.

Even before I was admitted, the professors genuinely wanted to know me as a person. Skip to content.
