It has constantly reinvented and rebranded itself to become what it is today, one of the greatest entertainment meccas in the world. This re-emergence, resilience and rebranding are what most of us are called upon to do post-pandemic. As Southern Nevada emerges from the COVID pandemic restrictions, the challenge will be to take the lessons learned, and to build upon a growing and diverse economy that is sustainable and competitive. Extremely important is providing the infrastructure and legislation that supports reinvestment in Southern Nevada, including housing, education, employment and small businesses.
Las Vegas is resilient and philanthropic and will emerge even better from where we were before. Imagining the possibilities for Vegas PBS and its ability to contribute in this post-pandemic world is a series of best-case scenarios that are always on my mind.
